The active ingredient in IGRc is Pyriproxyfen. Pyriproxyfen mimics a natural hormone in insects and disrupts their growth. It is a type of insect growth regulator that affects mostly young insects and eggs. Pyriproxyfen affects many types of insects, including fleas, cockroaches, ants, flies, moths, mosquitoes, gnats, and midges.

It's ideal for spraying lawns, around doorframes and windows, and other accessible areas for insects to enter your home. It's effective for local control of fleas and even ticks which transmit Lyme disease. Mix the concentrate with water to make up to 2 gallons. This product contains a 3.48% concentration of its active ingredient, Esfenvalerate, one of the most powerful and fast-acting insecticides available.

How It Works
Since one bottle makes 2 gallons of spray, it can be used to treat large areas up to 1000 sq. ft. per gallon. Some customers like the "professional pest control" feel from this type of application and perceive the gallons of spray mist as a better value for the dollar
Mix with water in a pump sprayer according to the instructions - generally 1 fluid ounce per gallon of water. Initial clean out of heavy infestations may require 2 fluid ounces per gallon of water concentration. Apply as a coarse wet spray to surfaces where insects are normally found, such as floors, baseboards, and around walls.
Is this product safe to spray if I have pets?
Bengal's products are safe for pets once they have dried on the surfaces, and the airborne vapors have cleared out. It is best to remove the pets from the treated area when the product is applied and keep them out until it is okay for them to return. This might be 30 minutes for Roach Spray and two hours for a carpet sprays like Full Season or Bedbug Killer.
Extra caution is advised for cats since they do not have the necessary liver enzymes to break down many pesticides. Do not get the pesticide on their food or water, and make sure that surfaces that they may contact are COMPLETELY dry.
Two hours is usually a safe interval for all the products, but may be longer in humid or chilly weather when it takes longer for the sprays to dry.
